2007
saw the completion of the first phase of the reforestation project begun
in 2005, including the access trail endorsed by the community in 2004,
opening the woods to work crews and police and firemen.
Over
300 native
trees, ferns, and shrubs have been planted, and 700 trees have been
saved from English ivy and other invasives.
The
year also saw rededication of the community to the off-leash area, led
by a committed off-leash area steward.
