To the Honorable Board of Public Works Of the City of Seattle
Gentlemen:
The undersigned members of the Board of the Day Nursery, an institution incorporated for the purpose of dispensing charity and caring for homeless little orphans, respectfully petition your honorable body and request that the City furnish water to said institution situated on Madison Street free, and your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
