Women in City Government

Helene Madison

Helene Madison McIver and Marilyn Luper
Madison started swimming through Seattle Parks and Recreation at age 12. In the 1932 Olympics she won three Gold Medals. During her career she earned 16 women's world freestyle swimming records and 56 American records.
