Green Building Exhibit

Green Building is a common-sense, best practice approach to building design, construction and operation. It creates beautiful, healthy places for us to live and work, stimulates our local economy and protects our natural environment. Energy conservation is a big part of Climate Action Now, the city’s campaign to reduce climate pollution. Building green also includes waste reduction, durability of design and materials, toxic-free, environmentally-friendly building materials, indoor air quality, site sensitivity — and more.

Green Building also promotes the new Clean Technology that will be an important sector of our economy.
