In December 2009, Mayor Greg Nickels and the Seattle Department of Planning and Development released the Livable South Downtown Planning Study Executive Recommendations. The recommendations include a final report and legislation for proposed Land Use Code amendments for consideration by the City Council in 2010.
The release of the final recommendations represents a culmination of a multi-year project that includes the following milestones and DPD-sponsored events. Public comments were sought throughout the project.
