The City University Community Advisory Committee (CUCAC) acts as both the CAC and SAC for the University of Washington.  However both the responsibilities and method for selecting member of the Committee differ from that for other CAC’s.  The responsibility of CUAC is broader and CUCAC not only participates in the development and monitoring of development under the University’s Master Plan but the physical development of greater University area.   Members of CUCAC are not selected by the City but are appointed directly by 16 community organizations each of whom is set through an agreement between the City and University.
