to preserve Seattle’s green spaces. The Oversight Committee has included
Westlake Greenbelt among 13 of the City’s adopted Green Spaces to
be considered for acquisition.

Potential acquisitions to connect existing green space in the Westlake Greenbelt.
The Westlake Greenbelt is one of the smaller greenbelts in the city, and
includes the wooded slopes above Westlake Ave N.
On November 12, 2002, the Pro Parks Levy Oversight Committee included Westlake
Greenbelt among the green spaces to be further considered for acquisition
through the Pro Parks Levy Green Spaces category.
