On Oct. 26, Seattle Department of Transportation will host an open house for the Magnolia Bridge replacement project from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Blaine K-8 School, 2550 34th Ave. W.

Engineers have determined it is not cost effective to retrofit the bridge to withstand another major earthquake.

The open house will show three alternatives considered for replacing the Magnolia Bridge.
