Purpose: Work with Sound Transit to make them aware of the neighborhood
issues around the construction and operation of the Beacon Hill
Light Rail Station, ensure Sound Transit accountability on these
issues, and develop plans to help mitigate the negative impact.

Purpose: Implement the provision in the North Beacon Hill Neighborhood

Program

Responsibilities: Coordinate the quarterly Adopt-A-Street litter
pickup on Beacon Avenue from Spokane Street north to the intersection
of 14th Ave S and Beacon Ave S (where Java Love is). This is a
great way to get involved in your community, the results are immediate

Purpose: The chair or members of this committee should represent North Beacon Hill on the Precinct Captain’s South Precinct Advisory Board and attend the Southeast Seattle Crime Prevention Council meetings and attend city and community meetings regarding crime and public safety related topics and get information on these topics as they relate to North Beacon Hill. The committee shall report to the council information shared at the South Precinct Advisory Board meetings and the Southeast Seattle Crime Prevention Council meetings, report on current issues on the topic, and make recommendations to the council on such issues.
