Prevailing Wage Requirements

The City requires that the prevailing wage rate be paid to all employees working on its construction projects. On construction projects that receive federal funding, the City is required to monitor all prevailing wage requirements for that project in accordance with state and federal laws.

If you have questions about the Prevailing Wage requirements on your contract, contact the Purchasing and Contracting Services Division at (206) 684-0430 and ask to speak to the staff member assigned to your project.
