Dear Friend,
It truly is an honor to represent you on the City Council. Public participation and civic engagement are a top priority for me, which is why my office has an open-door policy. I want to hear from you and I vow to work diligently on your behalf. My office is committed to bringing people together and finding the common ground on the issues that face Seattle and our region. I’ll work hard to reach out and listen to the various sides of each issue.
Since taking office in January, I’ve had the privilege of chairing the Parks and Seattle Center Committee. I am excited to make our parks the gem of our city and I hope to expand the connections throughout Seattle with trails and paths and adding ‘green’ to our infrastructure. Imagine bioswales, pocket parks, connective bands of green, and a waterfront for all.
