Tom Van Bronkhorst, Monica Ghosh, Dawn Wagner Todd, and Carlo Caldirola-Davis

Tom Van Bronkhorst, Legislative Assistant

Tom joined Councilmember Godden’s staff in 2004 after running her 2003 campaign. He currently follows energy and technology issues as well as taking the lead on issues outside of the Finance and Budget arena. Tom’s experience includes over 10 years with The Connections Group, a Seattle based political and public affairs consulting firm. He has worked on numerous political and issue campaigns over the past 20 years, prior to which he shot and edited news for a nightly newscast.  Recently Tom worked internationally producing videos documenting and supporting women running for Parliament in Jordan, Morocco and Kuwait. He has served on the board of City Year Seattle / King County for five years and continues to join corps members in service to the community. A Seattle native, Tom graduated from Washington State University with a degree in communications.

Monica Ghosh, Legislative Assistant

Monica follows issues related to the finance and budget, public safety and arts, and transportation committees.

Monica finished her B.A. in international studies and political science from the University of Washington and her M.P.A. from the Evans School of Public Affairs. While studying at the Evans School she had the opportunity to intern at the U.S. Government Accountability Office in Washington, D.C. and Social Venture Partners, a local grant making organization.

Currently, Monica is co-chair of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum and a volunteer for Chaya, an organization serving South Asian women in crisis. She enjoys traveling, having other people cook for her and snowshoeing.

Dawn Wagner Todd, Legislative Assistant

Dawn Wagner Todd currently handles Councilmember Godden’s schedule. Dawn worked her way through law school editing city codes for a local publishing company. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 1980, and worked as a trial attorney for several years before becoming Assistant Director of the Society of Council, a public defense firm in Seattle. She has a teaching certificate and has taught in the Seattle public schools, with occasional work as a Mock Trial coach for high school students. Writing, gardening, a husband, four children, and an assortment of cats and dogs figure largely in the distribution of time away from the Godden office.

Carlo Caldirola-Davis, Legislative Assistant

Carlo joined Councilmember Godden’s staff in December of 2011 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law. A transplant from Austin, TX, he grew up in Seattle and received his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University. He resides in the University District.

His free time is dedicated to following his true passion – Husky football. He also loves playing pickup basketball and lounging at Green Lake.
