Arboretum Hearing Scheduled

Arboretum Hearing Scheduled

The Culture, Arts and Parks Committee will hold a public hearing on the Arboretum Master Plan on Wednesday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. The hearing will take place in the City Council Chambers on the 11th floor of the Municipal Building, at 600 4th Avenue, between Cherry and James. This will be a joint hearing with the Board of Park Commissioners. Sign-in begins at 5 p.m. in the lobby outside the Chambers.

In addition, for those physically unable attend the hearing, there will be an email and telephone hearing from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. To testify by telephone, please call 206-684-TV21 (8821) beginning at 5:00 p.m. To testify by email, send an email. Your comments will be read to the Councilmembers.

At the request of my office, TV-Sea, Seattle's Municipal cable television station, will be broadcasting the hearing live. TV-Sea broadcasts on Channel 21 or 28, depending on the area.

At 5:30 p.m., the email and telephone portion of the hearing will end. In person testimony will begin at 5:30 p.m.
