Industrial Lands
Overview

Project Status: Completed

In 2007 the City adopted new, lower size-of-use limits for office and retail uses in industrial zones in order to:

  • Keep the land primarily in industrial uses because industrial activities bring diversity to the City’s economy and family-wage jobs to local residents
  • Recognize that there are many places outside industrial areas where the City has ample land zoned for office and retail uses
