Rose Center Wading Pool Central Park West at 79th Street New York City

The Rose Center Wading Pool is an example of open space that combines form and function. The reflective wall creates the illusion of even more play space, while giving "eyes" to what otherwise would be a blank wall. The low, open configuration of surrounding landscaping and retaining wall allow parents to let their children play while being able to maintain a watchful eye .
