Thirty-five citizens make up the Design Review Board -- five members each serve on boards that cover the city's seven distinct geographic areas. View map of board districts.

Join the Design Review Board
In April 2010, the Mayor and City Council will be appointing twelve new volunteer Design Review Board members to replace those retiring members whose terms are expiring. Applications are due December 10, 2009 for two-year terms that begin April 4, 2010. A list of the upcoming openings is in the appendix of the Design Review Board application.

Administrative Design Review for Townhouses
DPD is developing a new Administrative Design Review process to apply to townhouse development. The goals of the project are to apply a streamlined Administrative Design Review process for a better fit with the scale of townhouse projects without adding significantly to development cost.

Digital Submissions Required
DPD requires that applicants provide a .pdf file of their Early Design Guidance (EDG) and Recommendation design proposals to DPD five business days in advance of the Design Review Board meeting. A digital copy is required in addition to hard copies; it enables easy file sharing and storage at DPD. Download the instructions for creating and submitting a .pdf file. Ready to send?
