Other Environmental Programs

While the Office of Sustainability and Environment's role has long been to coordinate many environmental initiatives across the City, most of its duties now fall within the programs of climate protection and urban forest management.

Many of the City's initiatives to green its own operations, begun in OSE under the Environmental Management Program, are now managed by other City departments. Most of the City's work on Clean Air falls under climate protection or the partnership with the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency.
