Read Up About Trees
Want to learn more about city trees? Later in the summer, Seattle will release a plan for restoring the urban forest canopy, which has been reduced from 40% to just 18% in the past 35 years. Trees provide a multitude of benefits to the city and its neighborhoods, including water filtration, cleaner air, and natural beauty that adds to our region's livability. Until the management plan is released, you can learn a lot more about trees and how you can participate by visiting the Arborist's website.
