Henny Updates

September 2008
 
On September 6th Henny participated in the PAWSwalk at Magnuson Park.  With the help of all her friends, both in and out of the Seattle Fire Department, Henny helped raise $2,450.00 for PAWS.

August 2008

Henny at the Des Moines Pet Festival in August.  She did a demo for the crowd and "pawed" out stickers.

May 2008

In April, Henny investigated a suspicious, fatal fire, in Port Orchard.  Hear the story and view the video at King 5 News.

April 2008

In April, Henny assisted Redmond Fire with investigating an office fire.  Hear the story and view the video at King 5 News.

 

March 2008

Henny assisted Snohomish County Fire Investigators and the ATF at the Street of Dreams Fire.  View the video available on CNN.com.
 

Also in March, Henny and Captain Baer flew to New Mexico to recertify with the ATF.  Henny passed her tests and got to ride around in a rental car and see the sights.

 

January 2008

Henny went on vacation with her family to Florida over the holidays.  Here she is at an off-leash dog park at the beach.

 

December 2007

In December, Henny donated 56 pounds of dog food to 5 Corners Animal Hospital to help feed homeless, hungry dogs.


 

November 2007

In November, Henny helped out Bellevue and Des Moines Fire Departments with her investigating nose.

 

 

 

 

October 2007

In October, The Arson Alarm Foundation donated $1,000 to The Henny Program so Seattle Fire could continue to offer her services to other Fire Departments outside of Seattle.
