Apartment Manager's Information

Apartment Manager's Fire Safety Guide

The Fire Safety Guide for apartment managers was developed to address fire prevention and safety concerns specific to multi-family residences.  The guide will provide a clear explanation of the responsibilities of apartment managers/owners to prepare for fire emergencies as set forth in Chapter 4 of the Seattle Fire Code as well as examine fire hazards particular to apartment communities and solutions to these common problems.

Washington StateFire & Life Safety Disclosure Form

Enacted in 2002, Washington State RCW 59.18.060 requires residential property owners to provide written notification to tenants regarding fire protection and building safety in their building.  More information is available through the Office of the State Fire Marshal at http://www.wsp.wa.gov/fire/rcw59_18.htm
