Levy Oversight Committee Makeup

Determined by Fire Levy legislation, the composition of the committee currently includes:

  • A Seattle resident with financial expertise selected by the Seattle City Council (William Bradford, University of Washington)
  • Two representatives from the Seattle City Council selected by the Council (Councilmember Tim Burgess and Councilmember Bruce Harrell)
  • Two City employees selected by the Mayor (Ken Nakatsu, Mayor’s Office, and Dwight Dively, Department of Finance)
  • A Seattle fire fighter selected by fire fighters (Chris Gilbert, Seattle Fire Fighters Union, Local 27).
