Tet in Seattle

      Tet in Seattle was formed in 1996 by a group of Vietnamese organizations interested in celebrating and preserving traditional Vietnamese culture in Seattle. The Vietnamese observance of the lunar New Year Tet Nguyen Dan, or simply Tet.

Helping Link

Helping Link was formed in 1993 by a group of young professionals who recognized the needs of the Vietnamese community. Due to the drastic reduction in local and federal funding of social service programs, the need to develop a program like Helping Link was imminent and crucial. Helping Link has served over 200 individuals each year and involve over 50 community volunteer to operate our program.

  • Tutoring program for elementary, junior high, and high school students

Vietnamese Overseas Scouts

The Vietnamese Overseas Scouts started in 1986 with an Explorer Scout unit and recently formed additional Scout Troops.

Activities:
  • Food drive for the local food banks
  • Help teach Vietnamese and E.S.L. classes
  • Participate in Christmas Giving Tree
  • Plant neighborhood trees
