Education and employment go hand in hand — it takes one to get the other. The City of Seattle focuses on:

• Expanding and enriching children’s educational opportunities



• Providing a variety of employment resources

Education efforts include programs and services for preschool, elementary and high school-age children, including preschool programs, test preparation tutoring, and a host of other programs to help kids succeed in school.

We provide employment services to homeless people, older adults and disadvantaged youth.
