Services are provided throughout the pregnancy, plus two months of post-partum care, one year of medical care for the baby, and one year of family planning (birth control, sterilization and termination of pregnancies and sexually transmitted disease prevention) coverage for the mother.

To be eligible, U.S. citizenship is not required, but a woman:

  • Must have verification of pregnancy by a licensed health provider

  • Must live in Washington state and plan to live in Washington after the baby is born

  • Have a household income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. (The unborn child is counted in household size.)
