Healthy Communities Initiatives

The Healthy Communities Initiative resolution was adopted by the City Council and signed by Mayor Greg Nickels in March 2006. The initiative establishes a policy guide that directs the City of Seattle’s investments and efforts in public health services. The resolution articulates the vision, goals, strategies and policy framework that direct our efforts and investments in public health.
