Explanation of Schedules

20 - Separately metered residential service.

26/27 - Special assistance rate for low-income residential customers.

31 - General Service customers who had less than 50 kW demand for half or more of the billing periods in the prior calendar year.

34/35 - General Service customers who had maximum demand of 50 kW to less than 1,000 kW for half or more of the billing periods in the prior calendar year. Schedule 34 - general service uses of electricity; Schedule 35 - manufacturing, processing, refining or freezing.

38 - General Service customers inside the network who had 1,000 kW maximum demand or more, or General Service customers outside the network who had maximum demand of 1,000 kW to less than 10,000 kW, for half or more of the billing periods in the prior calendar year.

42 - General Service customers outside the network who had demand of 10,000 kW or more for half or more of the billing periods in the prior year calendar year.

Additional Information

For customers on time-of-use rates, the peak period is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., excluding major holidays. Customers metered on the utility's side of the meter receive a kWh discount for transformer losses. Customers who own their transformers receive a discount of $0.16/kW of monthly maximum demand. Customers with power factor meters and monthly power factors below 0.95 are billed 0.14 cents/kVarh.
