Holiday Message from the Mayor to City Employees

To all City employees:

Unbelievably, another year is behind us and 2005 is just ahead. This is the time of the year to look back on our accomplishments and make our resolutions for the next year.

I want to thank all of you for the work you've done for this city. These last three years have not been easy ones, but you've risen to the challenge. Your level of creativity, hard work, and commitment has been truly noteworthy.

We are getting through these tough times together. The good news is that the work we've done is starting to pay off. There is a lot of reason to be optimistic about a 2005 that is marked by job growth, healthy families, safe neighborhoods and efficient transportation.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or end of the year sales, I'd like to wish you and your families happy holidays and a warm and wonderful new year.
