About Neighborhoods

Information Technology

Welcome to the Department of Neighborhood's Information Technology unit. We are responsible for providing technology services to the Department of Neighborhoods' staff in the Seattle Municipal Tower, City Hall, and 13 Neighborhood Service Centers.

Our services include:

Technical Support
Provide hardware and software technical support for the Department's workstations and printers.

Network Administration
Create network and e-mail accounts for the Department's staff. Proactively protect the network from virus infections and other security threats.

Web Design and Development
Develop and maintain the Department's Seattle.gov web site (http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods) and the Department's internal intranet web site. Assist community groups in obtaining free community hosting on Seattle.gov.

Database Administration and Development
Develop and administer the Department's internal database applications. These applications provide key management tools for the Department's programs, including the Neighborhood Matching Fund, P-Patch Community Gardens, and Neighborhood Plan Implementation.

If you have any questions about technology at the Department of Neighborhoods, please contact us
