Summer Youth Sports Teams & Programs

 
Registration: Contact your local community center

Citywide Youth Athletics offers various summer sports activities for kids to experience. Each year we try to add new programs to the list.

Registration is required and begins on April 3, 2012 at 12:00 noon. To register online click on SPARC or contact your local community center. At registration a signed E-13 form and concussion form must be submitted. It may be faxed to (206) 615-0073 or scanned and emailed to kristen.schuler@seattle.gov.


Summer Sports Camps

Big D Football Camp
Space is limited and preregistration is required.
When: June 27, 28, and 29 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon
Ages:  Boys & Girls 6-15
Location: Judkins Park & Playfield, 2150 S Norman St.
Cost:  Free
Course Codes: 83461(ages 6-8), 83462(ages 9-11), 83463(ages 12-15)

Track & Field Camp
Our popular Track & Field Camp is back again! Coach Gregg Metcalf and his staff from the University of Washington Track and Field program will come spend two days running, jumping and throwing with us! Space is limited and preregistration is required.
When:  July 2 and 3rd from 9 a.m. - 1p.m.
Ages:  Boys and Girls 6-12
Location: West Seattle Stadium, 4432 35th Ave SW, 98126

Girls Softball Camp
Girls Softball Camp is a great way to be introduced to the sport of Softball and/or to build on previous skill level. The focus will be on the softball fundamentals of throwing, catching and hitting. We will end the camp by putting together all the skills in a scrimmage format.  Space is limited and preregistration is required.
When:  July 16, 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. - 1p.m.
Ages:  Girls 10-14
Location:  Lower Woodland Park Fields 3, 4, and 6; N 50th and Green Lake Way N, 98103

Tennis Camp (7-10yo)
Come join our experienced instructors for our second annual really fun tennis camp. The focus of the camp is tennis fundamentals to start the foundation for well rounded young tennis aces! Space is limited and preregistration is required. 
When: July 10, 11, and 12 from 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
Ages: 7-10
Location: Lower Woodland Park Tennis Courts; West Green Lake Way N and Green Lake Way N, 98103
Cost: $25 (Scholarships available)

Teen Volleyball Camp for Girls
The focus of our first annual Teen Girls Volleyball Camp is on Volleyball fundamentals and skill building in a fun environment. This camp is appropriate for the beginner Volleyball athlete as well as the experienced competitor. This camp is a great way to get ready for the upcoming school or community center volleyball season. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
When: July 25, 26, 27, and 28 9a.m.-3p.m.
Ages: Girls 13-18
Location: Rainier Community Center;
Cost: $25 (Scholarships available)

Girls Volleyball Camp (choose one location)
This summer we will focus on fundamentals and skill building for girls ages 9-12 in a fun environment. This camp is a great way to get introduced to the great team sport of Volleyball. Girls with little volleyball experience are encouraged to come give the sport a try as well as girls who already love it. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
When: July 30, 31 and August 1 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Ages: Girls 9-12
Location: Jefferson Community Center;
