Northgate Community Center Project Advisory Team

 

PAT MEMBERS

Michelle RuppMichelle Rupp is one of the founding members of the Northgate Chamber of Commerce. She has been an active advocate for the community, and is the owner and CEO of Nowogroski Rupp Insurance Group.
Shawn OlesenShawn Olesen is a self-employed general contractor and serves on the Victory Heights Community Council. He advocates for land use that protects parks.
Barbara MaxwellBarbara Maxwell has been a resident in the Northgate area for 28 years. She has served on the Maple Leaf Community Council since 1987 and can often be seen helping to organize the annual Ice Cream Social each July.
Velva MayeVelva Maye has been an active member of the Northgate Community since moving to the area 50 years ago. She regularly attends the Haller Lake Community Club and the Greenwood Senior Center. Velva worked for the Boeing Corporation for 40 years before retiring.
Frank LufkinFrank Lufkin is an engineer in downtown Seattle, and has served for many years on the Maple Leaf Community Council. He has been a Northgate resident for 10 years. He is interested in seeing community needs integrated with new development.
Jeanne HaydenJeanne Hayden is a resident of the Northaven Retirement Community where she has lived since 1996. Jeanne reports to her community's governing board each month about developments in the Northgate community.
Sue GevingSue Geving is an at-home mom and active in her community. Her two children attend Olympic View School, where Sue is a member of the PTA. Her children play sports, and Sue herself is a certified aerobics instructor.
Marilyn FirlotteMarilyn Firlotte has lived in the Northgate community for more than 50 years. She has been a member of the Green Lake Advisory Council for 26 years and served on the Associated Recreation Council for 15 years. She is active at St. Catherine's Church and is a small-business owner.
