Mission

Our mission is to provide for the South Park Neighborhood access to computer technology by offering quality computer classes and open lab opportunities on a year-round basis.

  • Class offered in Spanish and English
  • We offer self-paced and self-study classes
  • All classes require re-registration
  • A fee may be required for some classes
  • Classes are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • Completed parental form required for internet access

TEEN OUTREACH PROGRAM

The Teen Outreach Program (TOPs) produces a bilingual newspaper. TOPs is funded through a grant from the Department of Neighborhoods and is one of programs selected by the neighborhood Communities That Care planning and organizing team. Middle and high school students in TOPs attend classes, receive academic and test prep support, perform community service, write articles and help produce the newspaper. Upon graduation, students recede $150 to $300 stipends for their participation.

Partnership with Seattle Public Schools

Our computer lab partnership with Seattle Public Schools focuses on middle and high school academic improvement. Middle and high school students in South Park are benefiting from our partnership with Seattle Public School's TechNet Project. TechNet is an effort to increase communication and coordination between teachers and communities. You can learn more about our TechNet partnership at these two websites
