Thank you, Seattle. This Pro Parks Levy Opportunity Fund acquisition project is now complete!

On June 28, 2004 Seattle Parks and Recreation purchased the .19-acre property on the northeast corner of NE 117th St and 19th Ave NE for a future neighborhood park.


On July 29, 2002 Seattle City Council unanimously approved Pro Parks Levy Opportunity Fund funding to acquire property for a neighborhood park in the Pinehurst community.

BUDGET
$75,000 was approved for this project through the Pro Parks Levy Opportunity Fund. Matching funds for acquisition were approved through the King County Conservation Futures Tax.
SCHEDULE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Pinehurst Community Council nominated this project through the Pro Parks Levy Opportunity Fund, with the goal of creating "a quiet, easily accessible, pedestrian-oriented...park within the Pinehurst neighborhood."

The acquisition was completed in 2004. In 2005, funding was approved for park development of the site through the second cycle of the Pro Parks Levy Opportunity Fund.
