Shoreline Management StudyThe overall goal of this project was to inventory Seattle Parks and Recreations shoreline properties and identify opportunities for salmon habitat restoration and conservation. The assessment led to a ranking of restoration opportunities. The parks included in the study were those on Lake Washington, the Lake Union/Ship Canal to the Locks, and on Puget Sound/Elliott Bay. The City of Seattle and King County have completed several studies documenting salmon use of Seattles shorelines. This report applies previous scientific findings to Parks extensive shoreline properties.
