O₂ - Outdoor Opportunities

The O₂ program is an outdoor environmental education program dedicated to urban initiatives. O₂ effectively utilizes outdoor programming as a tool for education. The O₂ educational system reflects a three-fold process: exposure to life skills, outdoor living skills and biological and ecological theory. Students are taught the skills during a variety of monthly overnight excursions which take place throughout the state in both remote and urban environments. The O₂ method of environmental education powerfully connects the sense of self with our communities and to the natural environment.
