Mount Baker Rowing & Sailing Center: (206)386-1913
Green Lake Small Craft Center: (206)684-4074
Seattle Parks and Recreation offers small craft/boating opportunities at two public facilities, which are staffed and operational year-round.

Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing is located in South Seattle on Lake Washington and the Green Lake Small Craft Center is located on Green Lake.

Women's rowing.

Programs at both facilities operate year-round during daylight hours. Summer programs run from as early as 5:00 a.m. to as late as 9:00 p.m. seven days a week. Winter programs are more limited and primarily operate on weekends due to the limited daylight. However, some mid-day on-the-water programs, as well as conditioning classes, occur during the week in December and January.

On a typical day during mid-week in July, the Green Lake Small Craft Center serves an average of 340 people and the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center serves an average of 280 people. Almost two-thirds of the participants at each facility are youth. Rowing is the predominant activity, with most classes, especially the youth aged 13-18 program, operating at or near capacity. There are usually openings in the canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and sailboarding programs.
