In this class youth will learn how to properly use equipment, how to
view, edit, post and maintain a photo scrapbook hardcopy and online.

Do you have interest in becoming a music producer, or a love and appreciation
for music? We will be utilizing "Reason", an all in one music
production software to explore new and creative methods of enjoying
music. We will create instrumentals, effects and learn to use sequencing
tools to turn your ideas into innovate productions. This class will
be taught by Christopher Atchison "DJ Charma" a well renowned
hip hop producer and DJ in the Seattle community.

Why just have a limited myspace or facebook page- When you could have
a real web page?? Using Adobe Dreamweaver and other design programs
you will be making web pages with your own content, design and layout.
We will also look at Photoshop and Flash to help develop content for
your pages, so you can include your photos and videos.

Do you want to learn how to use a digital camera? Or maybe you
have a digital camera and want to get more out of it? In this class,
you will look at the principals of photography : depth of field, focal
length, composition and the history of photography. You will then manipulate
your photos to improve them and to be creative with them.

Have you ever wanted to learn about creating video production using a variety of cutting edge computer software? In this class you will learn about video editing, digital film process, and sound production to create your own movies. You can even create videos for your Hip Hoe Production recordings!
Flash Animation- Thursday 4-6pm

Do you want to make animation using Adobe Flash ? Flash is easy
to learn to create basic animation, but can also be used to develop
your animations to include user input and create games interactive web
page elements. The sessions will start with making object move,
then move on to add simple interactions, and later to more complicated
interactions and events.

You will compile a journal of your original works as well as gain hands-on experience recording, making beats and performing completed material. You'll do everything from free writing to free-styling. Learn and have fun while sharing your creative voice.

Aspiring reporters learn how to conduct an interview, develop a story,
craft a script and digitally edit their audio. They will also go on
field trips to several professional broadcast facilities, including
KUOW on Sept. 24th (school early dismissal day- trip leaves at 2pm.)

Learn to create short-form films and stop motion animations for websites
and web video channels. It's challenging to tell a story in three minutes,
but after covering the basics of story beginnings, middles, and ends,
you’ll translate your idea onto a storyboard and then use both
digital photography and film to make it come alive. You’ll
be amazed at the results!
