Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Monday, May 5th from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
It’s time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with traditional Mexican fare and smashing of the piñata. A taco bar, beverages, and games are in store for the entire family.
Activity Fee: $3

Super Mom - Mother’s Day Movie And Dinner

Friday, May 9th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with “The Incredibles” as super mom helps save the day. Each mom will get a flower to show how much we appreciate her. Dinner will be provided.
Activity Fee: $5

National Pizza Party Day

Friday, May 16th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
There is always a reason to celebrate! The magic of pizza creates fun and good taste for families, friends and neighbors in this Friday night activity. We’ll provide the toppings and the dough. You provide the creativity. Prizes awarded for the most creatively decorated individual pizza.
Activity Fee: $5

International Festival

Saturday, May 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Explore the world without leaving the city at Ravenna-Eckstein C.C. Bring your family for a fun festive event celebrating world culture, games and food. Listen to the sounds of cultural traditions through music, spoken word, song, and dance.
Activity Fee: $5

Tot Trot to Summer

Tuesday, June 10th from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Join us for a tot trot complete with warm-ups and stretches, awards, treats and surprises. Everyone wins this race... just cross the finish line! Parents, relatives, and friends are welcome to cheer the runners on. Participants need to wear running shoes. Pre-register by May 28th and receive a free Tot Trot t-shirt!
Ages:3 to 6
Activity Fee: $15

Texas Chili Cook-off - Playground Project Fund-raiser

Friday, June 20th from 6 to 8 p.m.
Register your team of 2-4. We’ll supply the beverages, plates, napkins, and dessert. Competitors, bring your best recipe (15-20 servings) for the judging and community tasting. Prizes awarded to first, second, and third place. A general admission ticket will get you a beverage, dessert and at least three tastings.
Activity Fee: Competition Entry Fee $10,

Coffee Connection

Monday & Wednesday
May 9th - June 9th
10:30 a.m. - Noon

Enjoy your favorite morning beverage while sitting with friends in our comfortable teen room. This is a new service for our patrons and neighbors to show our appreciation as well as talk about ways to “Build Our Community.” Twice a week mingle with others and just hang out, connect, engage, and make friends.
