Warren G. Magnuson Park is big - a bike is a good way to see it all! You can ride on any paved surface in the park. Don't miss the breathtaking views of Lake Washington along the shoreline to the east.

Arrive via the Burke-Gilman Trail, or tote your bike to the park in a vehicle. From the Burke-Gilman Trail, ride about a quarter-mile east to the park entrance at N.E. 65th Street. For younger bicycle riders, the best place to enter the park is also at N.E. 65th Street as there are crosswalks and traffic signals there. If you're in a vehicle, enter the park from Sand Point Way N.E. at N.E. 65th Street or N.E. 74th Street and take a spot in any nearby parking lot.

While riding, be sure to watch for cars, pedestrians, strollers and other bicycle riders. Please stay on paved surfaces; dirt trails are reserved for walking since the park environment is fragile.

Need air in your tires or snacks for your pack? Near the 74th Street entrance you can find air for a small fee and snack foods at a convenience store, or pastries and other sweets at a nearby bakery.

For more information about local bicycle trails, check the Burke-Gilman trail map, the special web site of the City of Seattle www.seattle.gov/transportation/bikemaps.htm#bgtrail
or  Metropolitan King County http://www.metrokc.gov/kcdot/roads/bike/index.cfm This link will take you off the City of Seattle web site.
