The park offers office space to a variety of non-profit arts, civic, environmental and sports organizations. Bringing these groups together in one place helps to enrich the programs available to the community, and provides needed office and meeting space for the organizations.

Call 206-684-4218 for information about office space for non-profit and community groups.

Here are the organizations that currently make their home at Warren G. Magnuson Park. Please note that these organizations are not part of Warren G. Magnuson Park management or Seattle Parks and Recreation. Contact information is provided here for your convenience.

SAND POINT COMMUNITY HOUSING ASSOCIATION

Warren G. Magnuson Park's Community Campus is home to transitional housing residences for families, single adults and youth. The Seattle City Council voted on August 13th, 2007 to approve the transfer of lease and title to the low income housing buildings at Sand Point from the Sand Point Community Housing Association (SPCHA) to Solid Ground (formerly the Fremont Public Association).

In the spring of 2000, tenants moved into the newly renovated buildings. The Family Housing Program has 30 parents and 70 children. The Single Housing Program houses 41 adults; Youth Housing has 24 young adults and six babies.

Some residents are continuing their education—three are enrolled in college; several have received their GEDs. Other residents have found new jobs or are engaged in retraining programs.

For more information on the transfer of ownership, or to be added to our mailing list for news about housing at Sand Point, please contact Solid Ground.

More information: Kira Zylstra at 206-517-5499 or kiraz@solid-ground.org.

These buildings provide temporary storage for some Suzzallo Library books; medical records storage for the University of Washington Medical Center, studios for students in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
