ABOUT THE COURTS:
The six unlighted tennis courts in Magnuson Park were constructed in the mid-1970s after the first transfer of lands from Naval Air Station, Seattle.
The Sand Point Tennis Center
In 1999, the Magnuson Park Concept Plan defined the location and size of a tennis facility in the park. As part of the City of Seattle's redevelopment of the Sand Point Historic District, this new facility will include 6 indoor and 4 outdoor courts which are convertible to indoor play during the winter. These are projected to be completed in 2010.

LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS:
They are located in the center portion of the park. It is easiest to access the existing courts from NE 74th Street entrance. From NE 74th Street, continue 1/4 mile east to the Junior League of Seattle Playground. From this point walk east on the Cross Park Trail a little over a 1/4 mile.
