Current Status

October 2009
Project permits are complete, and now include shoreline mitigation work at the South Marina basin, north of the gangway. This procject went to bid and Parks is in the process of awarding the contract.

For the mitigation effort, a review by all agencies was required, and all have concurred. No further issues have been raised.

Construction is anticpated to begin in October 2009, and proceed through April 2010. The project complies with Fisheries mandated, permitted "work window", established when juvenile salmon are not migrating through the area.

Construction begins: Fourth Quarter 2009 (tentitively scheduled will be determined by permit review)
Project complete: Project completion date expected April 2010 (to be determined by end of permit review)
