Project Information

Location: 2850 SW Roxbury St (Corner of SW Barton St and 29th Ave SW)

Project Status

Winter/Spring 2012
These projects are currently in the construction documents phase.

The play area will be a community build project taking place in Fall 2012. If you are interested in working on the installation of the play equipment, please contact the Parks Project Manager.

Seattle Parks has hosted five public meetings for these combined projects and presented the skatepark designs for review by the Seattle Design Commission. Parks in-house landscape architects are the designers of the play area and California Skate Parks is designing the skatespot with Parks Landscape Architects working on all grading and drainage.

Parks collected additional input on the projects through email comments received up until the end of October 2011.

The community provided input on both designs. Please see notes below.
