PROJECT STATUS

October 2007 Currently, the plans for renovations at Peace Park are being reviewed by Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT). The renovation work includes ADA accessibility, safety modifications, new sidewalk and paths, and parking updates. Landscaping and planting renovation are also planned. Peace Park is in the public Right of Way owned by SDOT and is at a junction of several transportion modes including motor vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians.

BUDGET
The Pro Parks Levy provides $126,691 project costs of planning, design and construction.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Upgrade the area around the Burke-Gilman Trail near the University Bridge, I-5 bridge, and Peace Park. Improve the landscaping and paths.
