Driving Directions to Safeco Field
Freeways serving the ballpark include I-90, I-5 and SR99. All of these routes pass within 1/2 mile of Safeco Field. Tip: Avoid the heavy traffic congestion around the ballpark by exiting freeways early. Exits nearer to the ballpark become quite congested in the hour prior to a game.
From the North:
I-5 Southbound
- Exit using James Street, Spokane Street, Forest Street, Dearborn Street, or Airport Way Exits
- Follow signs for Safeco Field, west of the freeway
SR99 Southbound
- Exit at 1st Avenue S.
- Safeco Field is located on 1st Avenue one block south of the offramp
From the South:
I-5 Northbound
- Use Spokane Street Exit
- Follow signs for Safeco Field, west of the freeway
From the Eastside:
I-90 Westbound
- Use 4th Avenue offramp
- Follow signs for Safeco Field
