Magnolia Bridge Replacement Project
From The Daily Journal of Commerce:
Magnolia Bridge site recommended

SEATTLE - Port of Seattle staff will recommend to the commission at its meeting today that a new Magnolia Bridge be built immediately to the south of the existing structure.
The 3,600-foot bridge connects the 15th Avenue West/Elliott Avenue West corridor to Magnolia along the extended alignment of West Garfield Street. Landslides and earthquakes have damaged the structure and the cost of fully rehabilitating it is near the expense of replacing it.
The other alternatives are building a bridge leading to a surface road at 15th and Elliott that would swing through port property and connect with another bridge to the top of Magnolia bluff or constructing a bridge 500 feet north of the existing one.
The city has been seeking community input on the $180 million to $214 million project and hopes to make a site decision in the next few weeks
