Bridges in the 1993-2000 Seismic Retrofit Program

The Seismic Retrofit Program was initiated in 1990 as a result of the increased public and governmental concern resulting from the Loma Prieta Earthquake in Northern California. The Seattle City Council appropriated funding to analyze and prioritize the City's bridges for seismic retrofit needs. The last project in this particular seismic retrofit program was completed in 2000.
