Tolt II Pipeline
In order to improve our ability to continue to meet the needs of an ever-growing eastside community, Seattle Public Utilities is putting in a second pipeline from the South Fork Tolt River intake to the distribution center.
This new pipeline will allow us to take advantage of times when water from the Tolt could be used, but which was previously impossible for us to transmit in high volumes.
It is just a piece of the puzzle of water supply, and along with the Tolt Filtration Plant, will increase our ability to meet the long-term water supply needs of the greater Seattle area.
