Change Account Mailing Address

Typically, your Combined Utility Bill and Electric Bill are mailed to the address where your service is provided. If you want to receive utility bill(s) at an address other than the service address, you can change the mailing address for your bill(s).

What you can change

You can change the mailing address (where the bill is sent) for your

  • • Seattle Public Utilities Bill (water, sewer, garbage) OR

  • • Seattle City Light Bill (electricity) OR

  • • Both Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle City Light
What will not change
Changing the mailing address does not


  • • close the account

  • • change the name on the account

  • • change the account responsibility

  • • • change the location where utility service is provided

Your account mailing address and account number
NOTE: Your bill mailing address is linked to the customer identification portion of your account number. Changing the mailing address will redirect all bills with the same customer number for each utility.
