Why Do I Need a Meter Reading?
As a customer courtesy, utilities are left on between customers. We obtain meter information to determine when to change the billing responsibility from one customer to the next. If the date an account is closed/open differs from the date the meter reading is taken the utility may adjust the meter reading by using a daily average.
