Packing Materials
At your house or apartment
You can NOT recycle packing materials such as styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap in your recycling container or dumpster.
At your Recycling and Disposal Stations
You can NOT recycle packing materials such as styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap at the Recycling and Disposal Stations.
At private companies
You can take styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap to a number of mailing and shipping businesses for reuse. Check the King County Recycling Web site or the Peanut Hotline, (800) 828-2214, for a list of local businesses that accept packing peanuts.
